I had the great opportunity to participate in Mustapha’s Jewish Heritage guided tour in Marrakech, and it was certainly a life-changing experience. Mustapha’s extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the history and culture of Marrakech’s Jewish population were obvious from the start of our tour. Mustapha took us on a journey through the years, telling us about the old Jewish presence in Marrakech. He took us to the wonderfully maintained synagogues, cemeteries, and other historical landmarks that bear witness to the city’s rich Jewish legacy.
Mustapha’s ability to connect the past with the present added to the tour’s uniqueness. He introduced us to members of the local Jewish community, allowing us to interact and learn about their lives and traditions. It was a lovely event that has stayed with me.
