Glamping Desert Morocco

Set out early in the morning from your Marrakesh riad or hotel to begin an exciting adventure. Travel over the Tichka Pass, Morocco's highest road pass, to traverse the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you'll be treated to breath-taking panoramic views of the craggy terrain, winding roads, and evocative Berber villages. While traveling, take in the legendary Tamnougalte kasbahs and the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a 16th-century gem that has been notably featured in Hollywood productions. The journey continues through the picturesque Draa river valley, which is home to verdant oases fringed with palm trees, until you arrive at Zagora, the capital of dates. After that, travel to the Sahara desert's entrance and arrive in Mhamid.

Enjoy a delicious dinner as the day progresses and immerse yourself in the desert's charm as you arrive at our nomadic fixed camp, where a starry Saharan night awaits.

We set out on a life-changing adventure on our first day at the enchanting Hamada of Draa, submerging ourselves in the pure desert air. Step by step, we dance a tuneful dance of exploration, learning about the fascinating plants and animals, savoring moments of complete calm, and releasing our thoughts from the entanglement of contemporary life. In the center of the vast Moroccan Desert, we merge with the desert's timeless essence and witness incredible dawns and sunsets that create a rainbow of colors in the sky. We travel slowly, following the rhythms of the sun, each of us moving at our own speed with knowledgeable camel drivers.

We gather with gracious nomads as night falls, sharing fragrant tea and wisdom-filled talks under a luminous star canopy, connecting with the ancient soul of the desert itself.

We awaken in our fixed camp to the calm of the desert on the second day of our incredible journey, where peace and quiet prevail. We practice yoga and meditation with the rising sun as our witness, letting the silence of the dunes direct us and help us rediscover our inner selves. As the day goes on, we immerse ourselves in the core of nomadic culture.

We take part in an enthralling ancient cooking class with the gracious nomads and discover the secrets of their time-honored culinary traditions set against the backdrop of this isolated and surreal environment. We will create memories that will last long after we leave the dunes behind on this day, which promises to be a special blend of inner harmony and cultural immersion.
