Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Aguinane Oasis

Your 4WD journey starts in Agadir, from where you'll travel to Taroudant, a charming town famous for its ancient ramparts and bustling markets. Your journey then takes you to Taliouine, Morocco's saffron capital, where you can savor the eye-catching hues and enticing scents of this priceless spice. Lunch will be in one of the local restaurants in Taliouine. After lunch we continue our journey over rocky terrain and palm groves in search of the serene oasis of Aguinane. Here, you'll spend the night beneath a starry desert sky, amidst the oasis' tranquility.

Day 2: Aguinane Oasis – Akka Ighane – Tissint – Foum Zguid – Erg Chigaga

Following a sumptuous breakfast in the tranquil Aguinane oasis, we continue on our way to the alluring location of Akka Ighane. Here, you'll start your excursion to the renowned Aserghine granary, a special and historically significant location that brings the region's Berber culture and heritage to life. Discover the historical heritage of the granary, observe the conventional grain storage methods, and interact with the friendly residents who have preserved this traditional way of life. Your experience is further enhanced by this cultural contact, which provides a greater appreciation of Moroccan history and customs. From here, we travel south to Tissint Oasis before crossing the dry Lake Iriqui, which was once supplied by the Draa river and was teeming with fish and waterfowl, into the Sahara. We can look for fossils in the centre of this lake. The off-road path leads us by the numerous desert characteristics, including the "reg" and the "hammada" and the "rocky, stony desert." Watch sunset after one hour of camel ride through the highest dunes of Erg Chegaga, dinner in your luxury camp with a night show of local music around campfire. Overnight in a luxury tent with private bathroom.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Tamegroute – Zagora - Agdz

Following breakfast in the desert camp, the route travels 60 more kilometres into the desert via the Sacred Oasis before arriving at M'hamid. The old village across the Draa River is a typical desert settlement, with adobe structures and covered roadways to block out the sweltering summer heat. Later, we keep driving up Morocco's longest valley, the Draa Valley. You pass through Zagora, the biggest oasis in the Draa Valley, which is renowned for its dates in particular. We go over the ancient caravan path that days and weeks-old caravans used to transport valuables from Mali or Mauretania across the Sahara. You may get a better sense of life in this region of Morocco by driving past all the Kasbahs and the local gardens as the route winds between the river and the mountains. We spend the night in a conventional guest home in Agdz.

Day 4: Agdz – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

Your day begins with a visit to the famous Kasbah Tamnougalt, a genuine jewel of Moroccan architecture and history, after a lovely breakfast in Agdz. Your journey continues towards Ouarzazate as you cross through the scenic Tizi n'Tinififte mountain pass, where breathtaking vistas await, after discovering its winding passageways and delicate intricacies. A quick visit to Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate enables you to take in its stunning beauty and historical significance. The last stop is Ait Ben Haddou, a famous Moroccan kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
